Under the Dome - Stephen King

That's it, just the one. Which I knew going in because it was 1,073 pages long. Overall I enjoyed it, it moved quickly and easily.

Now for something light and fluffy to cleanse the palate - Wicked Appetite by Janet Evanovich. I also downloaded a bunch of Georgette Heyer books last month during the .99 cent sale, so I'll probably hit those, too, this month. And Dewey, and Never Bite a Boy on the First Date. After a month of heavy King (literally - even in paperback you could kill someone with that book) I think a month of light and fluffy is just what I need.

Locke & Key: Welcome to Lovecraft - Joe Hill & Gabriel Rodriguez
Medium Dead - Chris Dolley
I Am Legend - Richard Matheson
Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire - J.K. Rowling
So Yesterday - Scott Westerfeld

Currently reading Under the Dome by Stephen King. At 1,072 pages, it just might be the only book I read this month - I started it on 8/1 and just today cracked 100 pages. Some of that might be due to me not working 8 hours a day anymore and not having a half-hour lunch break to read in. I'll just have to make a point of reading for at least a half-hour to an hour everyday at home.

On Stranger Tides – Tim Powers (May – June)

Feed – Mira Grant
Horns – Joe Hill
Married by Mistake – Abby Gaines
The Diary of Ellen Rimbauer: My Life at Rose Red – edited by Joyce Reardon, PhD
Hope’s Folly – Linnea Sinclair
Once a Cowboy – Linda Warren

I find myself more inclined to indulge in romance books now that I have the nook. Especially when I can get them for free from the Harlequin website. Granted, they're not the best romance books out there, but they're free, and they kill an afternoon.

Anyone have any recs for good romance? I tend to like contemporary stories over historical, and I like a bit of antaganism between the main characters before they realize, hey, maybe this person annoys me because I like them.

Fool Moon – Jim Butcher
Leviathan – Scott Westerfeld

I started 'On Stranger Tides' on the 14th of May, but with the move and all I really haven't had much chance to read for any length of time. I'm almost done with it now, though, just a little over a hundred pages to go. Might get it finished by the end of the week! I'm determined to get it done before the move, lol.
