I don't believe in a lot of things, but I do believe in Duct Tape

Last night I figured out how to convert pdf files to epub files so that I could upload books that I got *cough*otherplaces*cough* than B&N to my nook. So now I have Fight Club and Survivor by Chuck Palahniuk, The Prince by Machiavelli, and Pride & Prejudice & Zombies by Jane Austen and Seth Grahame-Smith. Whee!

I also downloaded a fanfic from AO3 as a test, and it worked! So at work today I read Loaded by lady_krysis, a super-hot Losers fic that I had read before and enjoyed. So now I know I can download a carry fanfic with me, too! Which means I may not get any actual books read, lol.

I just downloaded this Lost-themed wallpaper for my nook from nook-Look.

I HAS A NOOK!!!!

And a really pretty green leather easel cover and a booklight and B&N giftcards to buy ebooks with!

It's in the kitchen charging right now, but as soon as it's ready I'm going to get it registered and hooked up to my wifi network here at the house, and get some books and READ ON MY NOOK!

I've been saving up money to get one, and had almost enough saved, so my parents just kicked in the difference and bought the cover and booklight.
